what is Philosphy??

to start philosophy didn't exist since the begining. This term was created by Socrates. he said that philosophers were the ones who loved knowldge, not like sophists that taught for money. Other thing is that philosophy only cares about understanding all of our problems, not to solve them. Like morality, ethics, what's wrong and what's right. everyone is related to philosophy because philosophy uses thought to stablish their questions and everyone thinks.

I think Philosophy is something we use to satisfy our suriosity and our existencial questions like why we exist, why we are here and we seak for a satisfactory answer.

Socrates

Before Socrates, in Athens there was only sophists they were people who were paid for teaching. Socrates enter to this sophists class and start to question about everything. In a couple of classes Socrates became from student to teacher. After this he started to give classes in the streets and were free, because he thought eisdom shouldn't be charged. This is when he created the term Philosopher, that is the one who teaches not in exchange of money, only for love to knowledge. Socrates used the dialog to teach in his classes they just talked and talked and that was the way they learnt. Socrates focused in two main things: society and argumentation. he was the master of argumentation.

I think he is one of the most brilliant minds of history because he made many contribution in Philosophyand left a valious knowledge about many things
